A San Francisco Based Post-Prohibition Themed Bar
Stookey’s Club Moderne, located between Nob Hill and Union Square, is a lounge evoking the style of post-prohibition San Francisco (1930-1940). Designed in the style of “Streamline/Moderne,” the lounge evokes the mood of the stories of Dashiell Hammet’s San Francisco.
When patrons enter Club Moderne, they will be whisked back into this time period through historically appropriate décor and music.
The focus will be on carefully crafted cocktails featuring spirits of the period, as well as local beers and wines on tap. In addition, a unique selection of spirits and liqueurs will be offered.
The music will be provided from an extensive private collection, many of which were taken from rare recordings of the period.
