Dahveed Behroozi Trio (7:30pm-8:30pm)

Pianist and Composer Dahveed Behroozi is a San Francisco Bay Area based musician.  His focus is in jazz, classical, and new music.  He is an active player both as a leader and sideman in the Bay Area, nationally and internationally. Piano legend Fred Hersch describes his playing as, "intense, immersive, emotionally fulfilling and musically deep.” Dahveed has released three full-length records to critical acclaim.  His most recent, “Standard Fare” is a solo piano record released in June 2023 on Sunnyside Records. Currently, Dahveed serves on the music faculty at Gavilan College, San Jose State University and Stanford Jazz Workshop.

We are absolutely thrilled to have his debut at Stookey's Blue Room later in September!
